Census in Progress
The data collection concerning the Census of Population
and Housing 2005 is currently in progress. The enumerators have been
collecting questionnaires from all localities in Malta and Gozo since
the 20th November and will continue to do so until the 11th
December 2005.
Census
enumerators who have not yet managed to establish a contact with
particular households are leaving a note with a tentative appointment
and/or contact telephone number so as to enable the household to
contact them. The cooperation of the public in such cases is greatly
appreciated.
The
National Statistics Office would like to remind the general public
that information for the purpose of the Census is required from all
Maltese and foreign nationals who, on the 27 November 2005, would have
been living in Malta for at least 12 months. The general public is
also reminded that all information that is collected during the census
is strictly confidential.
